CONFLICT COACHING
Conflict coaching also known as conflict management coaching is a one-on-one client centered service. The client and coach meet to discuss issues that the client is having in certain settings or relationships. Discussions with a coach can be particularly helpful in clarifying your thinking or regarding certain people or topics. The coach can help you plan a difficult conversation or even decide whether or not you want/need to have one. It can also be helpful before a mediation session or when you wish to mediate and the other party does not.

You might be wondering who uses conflict coaching... the answer is many people.
* Are you a manager or supervisor having difficulty dealing with an employee, co-worker, or boss?
* Are you having difficulty talking to a family member, friend or acquaintance?
A coach can help you work through these relationships. Plan conversations or develop your communication skills to prepare you to deal with these situations.
MEDIATION
Mediation is a process where two or more people come together to discuss their issues and needs with the assistance of a neutral third-party neutral, a mediator. The process is voluntary and anyone can withdraw at any time throughout the process. It is also confidential, therefore the mediator cannot disclose what was said during the mediation except under very specific conditions and the parties are also asked to keep mediated conversations confidential. Parties may seek legal counsel during the mediation process, before an agreement is signed, or even bring their attorney with them to mediation session(s).

Mediation can be used for a wide variety of situations.

OMBUDS SERVICES
For organizations that are looking for a place for their employees or members to assist with the resolution of conflicts or concerns. This is also a neutral role within the organization. The ombuds listens and understands peoples' perspectives while remaining neutral about the facts. Help people evaluate options. The ombuds can also help identify common themes in an organization and bring recurring themes to the attention of management without identification of individuals or groups that have brought up the issues. The ombuds can also refer people to appropriate resources. The ombuds office is distinct from human resources in that conversations are confidential and not part of any formal investigatory process.
Who uses Ombuds services?
Many Colleges/Universities or Companies use Ombuds services in order to have an informal, neutral person to assist stakeholders in the organizations without the formality of the stakeholder going to HR or through some other formal dispute process. Discussion with an Ombuds can help stakeholders clarify issues and also help the organization identify trends while keeping the anonymity of the stakeholder.
